DIY cute vinyl eye decals to make everything adorable

Today I’m going to show you how I created cute eye decals and used them to turn every object into an adorable little thing! There is so many possible uses for this that I thought I would share some of the things I’ve done with you!

So, here’s an easy and adorable DIY that you can use for yourself in many different ways.

This article isn’t directly planner related but it’s totally cute related, and therefore i’m super excited to tell you all about it! If it’s cute, it’s definitely worth talking about!

How to create cute eye decals

I used black vinyl and my beloved Silhouette Portrait to cut a set of cute little faces. As you know, vinyl is sticky and silhouette cuts, therefore I ended up with adorable little vinyl decals to stick everywhere around me and make my world (or at least my desk and flat) a little happier! If you don’t have a cutting machine, don’t worry, you can totally use scissors or an X-acto knife instead. It’s a pretty simple design after all.

I’m sharing with you my favorite pair of eyes just down below. If you save the image as a jpeg you’ll be able to make it as big or small as you need so that’s why i’m not sharing a pdf or studio file in today’s article! You can also find lots of cute eyes by using google images.

If you want to do something similar, you’ll need:

• Black vinyl: glossy or matte
• Scissors, X-acto knife or a cutting machine like Silhouette Portrait or Cameo
• Optional: Transfer tape
• Cute eyes cliparts: save this image as a jpeg or look for others on google images:

To create your decal you can print your image (the pair of eyes above or any other you’ve found) in any size you desire and then trace and cut it with scissors or X-acto knife.
Or, if you have a cutting machine, you can add this image to your cutting software, trace it and cut with your machine directly on your vinyl paper.

I went with the latter option and made myself a set of minis.

Now there you have it you’re ready to start decorating (or as i like to say, “cutify”) everything with adorable eyes! Here are a few examples of how I used my newly homemade decals to turn everything cuter around me. C’est trop mignon!
