✏️What You’ll Get
This free printable comes in two versions. You can download the high-resolution PDF further down this page.
Both templates are designed to print on US Letter or A4 paper, and you’ll get a pencil box that measures about 5.5×2.5″ once cut and assembled. Take a look at both designs:

Supplies You’ll Need:
- Printed template (cardstock recommended for sturdiness)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or double-sided tape
- Ruler (optional, but great for crisp folds)
- Treats, gift cards, or small surprises to tuck inside
✂️ Assembly Instructions:

Cut out the pencil shape along the solid outer edges. Be precise around the pointed tip and flaps.

Fold along all the dotted lines. Use a ruler to help create clean creases. Fold inward so the printed side faces out.

Apply glue to the areas marked “GLUE HERE.” These tabs form the pencil’s 3D shape.

Assemble the pencil body by rolling and attaching the long side tab. You’ll start to form a rounded hexagon.

Fold and glue the bottom flaps to close the tip of the pencil. Leave the rectangular lid tab unglued or only lightly glued if you want to use it as an opening/closure.

Let dry if using liquid glue. Once set, your pencil gift box is ready to be filled with something sweet!
