A few weeks ago I shared a set of free printable floral baby closet dividers. Today I’m happy to share this matching set of free printable monthly baby milestone cards. Whether you’re expecting a baby or know someone who is, these free printable cards can be a great (and very easy) DIY. These baby closet dividers and baby milestone cards can be a great baby shower gift idea.

In case you’re not familiar with this concept, baby milestone cards can be used to take monthly photos and document your baby’s evolution from birth to 1 year old. Babies change so fast! You want to make sure you remember every little step of their growth.
To use simply place the cards next to your baby and snap a photo. When your baby is growing up, he or she can hold the card in his/her hands.
To turn this into even more of a memory-keeping ritual, I recommend you add details about your baby on the back of each milestone card, such as the date the photo was taken, your baby’s weight, size, and other noteworthy facts.
I would describe today’s set of baby girl closet dividers as “shabby chic”, with delicate flowers and script lettering.
I’ve included 16 different baby milestone cards:
- Hello world (birth) – 1 card
- 1 to 3 weeks old – 3 cards
- 1 to 11 months old – 11 cards
- 1 year old – 1 card
The free printable file includes 8 pages with 2 cards by page. Each card measures 4×6″.
Supplies and Instructions – DIY Baby Milestone Cards
As I said this is a very fast and easy DIY so the printable is pretty self-explanatory, you simply have to cut each milestone card.
You’ll only need a printer, paper and a pair of scissors to complete this project. Little efforts for big results.
For this DIY you will need:
- PDF Printable Closet Dividers (download file towards the bottom of the article)
- Thick paper like cardstock or photo paper
- A pair of scissors (here’s my favorite one)
- A printer: if you like printables, I highly recommend investing in a printer that is HP Instant Ink compatible (here’s how I print as much as I want for free or super cheap)
- Optional: corner rounder punch
- Optional: paper trimmer

Print the PDF (8 pages) on thick paper and cut each of the 16 dividers. To save time I decided to use my paper trimmer but you can of course simply use a pair of scissors for that step.
I then used my corner rounder punch to round each corner. Best to avoid having sharp corners next to your precious baby.
